Tom Mann, Jr, Lake Lanier Guide Service I offer full time guide service on Lake Lanier. Although I currently fish professionally on the FLW Tour and may be fishing a tournament, I can still get you out on the water when you want to go. I have several well qualified guides who help me out when I am out of town or already booked. When fishing on Lake Lanier you would almost always be fishing with artificial bait. Any live bait would be extra but is usually not necessary. We fish out of fully rigged Ranger Boats with all the top of the line equipment.

LAKE OKEECHOBEE

I am also offering limited guiding on Lake Okeechobee during the cold and dreary winter months. We usually fish with artificial here also, but shiner fishing is a favorite for many anglers. The guide fees are the same for either lake but shiners are extra if that is how you want to fish. The choice is yours.

I will furnish everything you will need as far as equipment and tackle. You will need to bring rain gear if needed and a coat or jacket for those cold starts. I will furnish ice and cooler; you will need to bring your drinks and food if desired. On full day trips there are several great restaurants on the lake where we can stop and eat a great lunch which breaks up the day. Of course this would be completely up to you.
Some other things you may want to consider bringing are sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen, and a camera.

Remember, you are not booking a trip with just any guide; you will be on the water with one of this country’s top professional fishermen with over 24 years on the tournament trail, over 30 years of fishing on Lake Lanier and 25 years on Lake Okeechobee.
